BEST TIME TO VISIT
Peru has only two seasons: rainy and dry. May through October is a dry season, and November through April is a wet season. The wet season would be between January and the end of April. It's not a perfect time to visit Peru – at least not really in the mountain regions, where roads and hiking paths can be blocked or closed.
Most people are coming to Peru from the beginning of May to the end of November, with July and August becoming the peak months. May and September are very nice months to come, as tourism slows down somewhat, but the temperatures are still cool. If you want to spend more time in the mountains, there are bright , sunny days between June and September (but chilly nights). It's a fine time to stroll the Inca Trail. It's still the perfect time to visit the Amazon Basin, where there are fewer mosquitoes.
Temperatures on the desert coast can reach as high as 77 ° F-95 ° F (25 ° C-35 ° C) from December to April, while conditions can be cool from May to October.
